Born and bred in Singapore, I did my schooling here until I was 18.

Tertiary Education
I then headed to Perth, Australia to pursue my undergraduate degree.
I received a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Western Australia, where I studied Anthropology, Psychology and Philosophy.
My areas of interest and academic research were - and still continue to be - Identity, Group Dynamics, Gender Studies, Migration, Sociobiology and Aggression.

The Corporate World
I began my career doing Training, Professional Development and Career Management. This included activities such as Career Counselling, Training Needs Analysis, Course Design and Evaluation, and Performance Management.
Later, I broadened my experience to cover the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, namely Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Recruitment, Succession Planning, Business HR and Expatriate Management.
I have also performed in a Consulting Role, where I advised clients on Performance and Rewards, Job Evaluation and Compensation and Benefits. I worked with my clients on creating Job Descriptions and conducted Job Sizing Exercises to accurately peg their various positions to the market.
My corporate experience spanned 8 years, in the Management Consulting, IT and Banking sectors.
